FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RACE MEETINGS AT THRUXTON

Championship Truck and Car Racing - Thruxton - Sat 15th and Sun 16th August 2009

General Information :

The Circuit Gates will be open from 0700 hours. The Restuarants and mobile catering units will be open from 0730 hours.

PLEASE NOTE : Animals are NOT admitted to the circuit, paddocks, car parks or camp site (Except Guide / Helper dogs for blind or disabled visitors).

Admission Tickets are available as follows :

Saturday 15th August (Practice, Qualification and Racing) :

Public Circuit Admission Tickets cost £7.00 in advance, or £9.00 at the Circuit gates.

Accompanied children aged under 16 will be admitted free of charge.

The paddock areas will be open free of charge to adults and accompanied children all day on Saturday.

Grandstand seats are available for Saturday at £4.00 per seat in advance, or £5.00 per seat if purchased at the Grandstand entrance.
Once in the stand, you may choose which seat you wish to occupy.
Seats purchased for children will cost the same as for adults.

Car parking at the venue will be free of charge.

Sunday 16th August (Race Day)

Public Circuit Admission Tickets for Adults will cost £16.00 if purchased in advance, or £20.00 at the Circuit gates.

Accompanied children aged under 16 will be admitted free of charge.

Paddock transfer tickets are available, costing £6.00 each in advance, or £8.00 each, and can be purchased at the Paddock Tunnel entrance. All persons entering the paddock areas who are aged five years or older are required to hold a valid paddock transfer ticket on Sunday.

Grandstand Seats are available for Sunday at £8.00 per seat in advance, or £10.00 per seat if purchased at the grandstand entrance.
Once in the stand, you may choose which seat you wish to occupy.
Seats purchased for children will cost the same as for adults.

Car parking at the venue will be free of charge.

Camp Site :

PLEASE NOTE : Animals are NOT admitted to the circuit, paddocks, car parks or camp site (Except Guide / Helper dogs for blind or registered visitors).

A camp site is available free of charge at this race meeting. The camp site will provide access to fresh water and permanent toilets. Showers are available in the centre of the Paddock areas. (A Paddock Pass will be needed on Sunday if campers wish to visit the showers after the circuit security team deploys on Sunday morning.) The camp site will open at 1600 hours on the Thursday preceding the race meeting, and close at 1600 hours on the Monday following the race meeting. Pitches cannot be reserved in advance.
