Centres - additional information
South Western Centre
The main area of activity for this centre is the tremendously popular hill climbing events organised at Gurston Down situated ten miles south-west of Salisbury, along with the customary social evenings.
South Eastern Centre
Just off the A2 near Dover is Lydden Hill Racing Circuit, which hosts most of the main activities organised by the centre. Their magazine "Brief Torque" informs members of the many other Sprint and Hillclimb meetings at various locations, including Goodwood in Sussex.
North Western Centre
The centre looks after members from all around the Merseyside area, and organise's several race meetings each year at Oulton Park Circuit in Cheshire. Their calendar of social events includes Karting sessions and Quiz nights.
BARC Championship Race Meetings are also organised at the Ty Croes Motor Racing Circuit near Aberffraw, Anglesey, North Wales.
Midlands Centre
The main racing activities take place at Donington Park, Snetterton and Mallory Park, and there are several Sprint venues in the region, too.
In common with other centre's, marshal training days are arranged locally, as well as regular social meetings.
Yorkshire Centre
Overlooking the glorious Wharfedale is one of the premier Hill Climb venues in Great Britain, Harewood Hill.
A high level of entertainment for spectator members, marshals and competitors alike is guaranteed at each meeting and the centre's staff make every effort to ensure a fantastic day out for the whole family.
Centre members also receive the "Yorkshire Centre Times" magazine.
BARC Wales
Members are involved in all the sprint and racing activities at our Pembrey Circuit, near Llanelli. Their varied programme includes Single Seater and Saloon Car Racing, Motorcycle Races, Rallycross Championship Races and Truck Racing.
Ontario, Canada
The BARC is proud to have a centre in Canada whose members are involved in many different forms of motorsport, including Ice Racing. The Centre are also the organisers of the annual round of a "Champ Car" race on the streets of Toronto.
