MARSHAL Training with the BARC
Marshal Training Days organised by the BARC will be held in 2010 as follows :-
Mallory Park Circuit near Leicester
A single day which will contain sessions for all types of Marshals including Trainees - Sunday 31st January 2010.
Croft Circuit near Darlington
A single day which will contain sessions for all types of Marshals including Trainees - Sunday 21st February 2010.
Pembrey Circuit near Llanelli
A single day which will contain sessions for all types of Marshals including Trainees - Sunday 14th February 2010.
Thruxton Circuit near Andover - two successive days; Saturday 06th March 2009 and Sunday 07th March 2010.
The Saturday Training Day is designed to be of assistance to Trainee Marshals, and Incident (Course and Fire) Marshals.
The Sunday Training Day is designed to help the development of Flag Marshals, Post Chief's, Specialist Marshals and Senior Officials.
All our 2010 Training Days will include information about new rules and procedures which may be introduced during the forthcoming season.
All existing marshals and officials on the BARC database will receive invitations to these training days early in each year. Any new marshal who wishes to attend any of these days should either :
- complete the paper form and post it back to Thruxton,
- or download the 2010 Training Day Application Form, print it, complete it and post it back to Thruxton,
- Use our on-line system to reserve your 2010 training place. (this method will be available from early in the New Year)
- IMPORTANT - Please do not submit duplicate dates by more than one methods; send in the paper forms, or do it on line.
But please do not duplicate it.!
At all BARC Marshal Training Days, Marshals are offered the chance to update their skills, particularly with firefighting techniques, basic first-aid, incident management and team work.
