Results of our Sprints in 2008 :

We are now using the services of Timing Solutions Ltd. to time our events, and as part of their service, TSL are publishing full details of times etc. on their website as Adobe PDF documents.

Mallory Park Plum Pudding Race Meeting 2007 :

The Midlands Centre will again run the "Plum Pudding" Race Meeting at Mallory Park on Friday 26th December 2008.

Competitors will be racing in front of one of Mallory's biggest crowds of the year, and will also see some two-wheeled sport as well!

The following classes of Race Cars will be catered for:

• Caterham Challenge, Class 1, Academy Cars 1600cc
• Caterham Challenge, Class 2, Graduate Cars 1600cc
• Caterham Challenge, Class 3, Super-Graduate and Roadsports "B" Cars 1600cc
• Caterham Challenge, Class 4, Mega-Graduate Cars 1600cc
• Classes for Open Saloon and Sportscars - based on CTCRC regulations

The Entry Fee of £100.00 (t.b.c.) will cover one practice session and TWO races!

Involving our young people :

At each BARC Midlands Curborough Sprint, children aged under 14 are given "once only" cameras.

Following the meeting, the Centre has the pictures processed and the results are judged at the next Committee meeting. 

From the three winning pictures, the overall winner is selected by all those attending the Centre Annual Dinner.

Following our Sprint at Curborough on Saturday 03rd May 2008, the committee have viewed various pictures submitted by our young spectators, and the following two images are selected as Winner and Runner-Up :
