Mintex Awards

At most of the Race Meetings organised by the BARC's North Western Centre, a Mintex prize is awarded to the driver, who in the opinion of the Track Observers, has put up the best performance in the Practice Session.

The Committee is very grateful to Mintex for their sponsorship of these awards, and is pleased to endorse Mintex products, which are used by many of our Competitors.

Mintex are manufacturers of high quality brakes and other friction materials used in the Motoring Industry, and are the preferred supplier by many of the Competitors in our annual Sports/Saloon Championship.

Phil Manser receives his voucher for a free set of brake pads from Peter Gorrie, NW Centre Secretary.

He was very pleasantly surprised to be chosen and said:

'The Mintex award at Oulton Park was a very pleasant surprise I would like to thank the marshals and hope that they enjoyed the racing as much as I did. They do a great job in all weathers and I would also like to take the opportunity to thank them for all of their work in the past and in the future.
