Wales

The Wales Centre of the BARC currently organises Sprints at the Pembrey and Llandow Circuits, both of which are located in the south of Wales.

Competitors who are interested in competing at the 2009 season Sprints at Llandow or Pembrey which are organised by the BARC Wales Centre, should contact Alun Morgan or Anita Williams for entry forms etc. (There is no need to use the new BARC HQ Competitions System for these events - we are still using traditional administrative methods!)

Andrew Williams - winner of the 2005 WRDA Welsh Sports Saloon Championship

We still have places available for any competitors who are interested in the Rally Timed Trial which will take place on Sunday 22nd March 2009. Please contact Anita Williams for more details.

The Committee have gained a reputation for efficent and responsive administration of these events, and after several seasons of hard work, BARC Wales were delighted to have been recently awarded the Tyrell Motorsport Trophy for the best organised event in the 2005 Welsh Sprint and Hillclimb Championship for the Sprint event held at Llandow on 23rd July 2005.

The trophy was collected by Anita Williams at a glittering Welsh Association of Motor Clubs Annual Awards Dinner held in Llandrindod Wells during January of 2006, and Anita represented both BARC Wales and the joint event organisers, Welsh Counties Car Club.

The BARC Wales events are associated with the UK's National Sprint Championship and the Welsh Sprint and Hillclimb Championship, and are delighted to recommend two important sponsors of these two events; Trident Engineering of Llanelli, and Bartlett Engineering South Wales Ltd. of Port Talbot.

The Committee are always pleased to receive information or comments from members (and non-members) of the Wales Centre. Please feel free to use any of the contacts detailed in our Contacts List.
