Something a little different is happening this week at one of the British Automobile Club venues. The Roger Albert Clark Rally or RAC Rally for short will stop off at Pembrey in south west Wales tomorrow as Britainβs biggest rally gets ready to arrive in Wales.
Rallying in Britain always used to see a spectator friendly stage at a circuit, stately home or any accessible venue for that matter. The organisers of the RAC are rekindling that magic and introducing the spectator stages in 2025, with Pembrey – the home of Welsh motorsport now welcoming the biggest rally in the country.
When does the rally run?
The mega marathon rally begins with a Ceremonial Start in Camarthan town centre this evening (Wednesday) before stage action begins on Thursday morning through to Monday evening.
The rally will take in two runs through Pembrey on Thursday afternoon. The two stages have been named Dai Roberts Pembrey in honour of Welsh co-driver Dai Roberts who sadly lost his life in a rallying accident in the British championship earlier this year.
Where are the events being held?
Pembrey Circuit
Address: Pembrey Circuit Llanelli Carmarthenshire SA16 0HZ
