Gurston Down poised for full-throttle year of events

Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb is gearing up for a blockbuster year of hillclimb action in 2026 after locking in its schedule of events.

After surpassing the 400-race meeting barrier last year, the Wiltshire venue – which is operated by the Club’s South West Centre – is set to hit new heights this season as it prepares to welcome fans through its gates.

Proceedings will begin on April 19 as Gurston Down stages its traditional test day before the opening weekend of May marks the beginning of both the Turbo Dynamics Gurston Down Hillclimb Championship and Online Cleaning Technologies Gurston Down Top Ten Challenge.

One of the undoubted highlights of the year will come in late May as the British Hillclimb Championship presented by Nova Motorsport and its leading lights descend on the Salisbury countryside for two days of full-throttle action.

A second helping of the Turbo Dynamics Gurston Down Hillclimb Championship and Online Cleaning Technologies Gurston Down Top Ten Challenge will follow a few weeks later before the privately run Gurston Ascent Day

The 2026 season concludes with two more rounds of the Turbo Dynamics Gurston Down Hillclimb Championship and Online Cleaning Technologies Gurston Down Top Ten Challenge across the month of August.
