The British Truck Racing Championship is one of the biggest motorsport categories in the UK, with machines weighing in at more than five tonnes and producing in excess of 1200 bhp – it is a championship like no other.
Promoted by Truck Sport, the heavyweight series has been wowing crowds for more than 30 years, with some of the biggest names in the haulage industry being represented on the grid along the way.
Taking centre stage at UK circuits such as Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Pembrey, the titans of truck racing also venture overseas to Le Mans in France for what is a thrilling penultimate event of the season.
In total, the season is comprised of seven events and a total of 34 races. The championship has for a long time been split into two classes too; delivering exhilarating thrills and spills in equal measure.
Division 1 is home to the most advanced machines that have bespoke water-cooled braking and suspension systems whilst Division 2 has closer links to more production-based machines; both delivering fast-paced heart-stopping moments throughout the year.
