The MINI CHALLENGE Clubsport with Airtec Motorsport is a club-level entry series that is an affiliate of the Vertu MINI CHALLENGE categories that compete alongside the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.

Delivering thrilling grassroots motor racing, the series has grown in stature year-on-year and as of 2026, is now aligned with titans of the British Truck Racing Championship – running exclusively alongside them at five events.

There are multiple classes to suit different models and driver experience levels – ensuring a level playing field with plenty on-track battles. The three classes within MINI CHALLENGE Clubsport will be Cooper S, Open and Cooper Am, with cars running together on track to create one giant field.

The Cooper S class will be open to the R53 and R56 models of the MINI Cooper S at a tightly regulated level of tuning, whilst the Cooper Am Class will be open to the R50 variant as used in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy, but with a more flexible set of technical rules.

There is also the Ravenol Novice Cup for first time racers offering a welcoming environment to develop skills and a Ladies Cup – open to all female drivers across the classes.
