After a long winter which has seen plenty of announcements, changes and testing, the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship returns to action for 2019 with the season-opener taking place at Brands Hatch.

Following on from a record-breaking 60th Anniversary season in 2018, the BTCC is set to be back with a bang around the Indy circuit as a 30-car entry list kick off the battle for the biggest prize in British motorsport, currently held by Colin Turkington.

Three tense encounters will be the centrepiece of the weekend at the Kent venue as well as two practice sessions and the all-important battle for pole position in qualifying too.

Alongside the BTCC once again will be a bumper support package that features some of the best single-make championships in the UK.

As always the Renault UK Clio Cup, Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship, Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 Supercup, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost will be in action, with an array of talent all keen to steal the show.
