The destiny of the 2019 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship will be decided around the Grand Prix layout of Brands Hatch this weekend with three races left to be run.
In what has been another vintage year for the UK’s premier race series, the Kent circuit serves as the perfect place to bring the curtain down on the season with high drama and entertainment anticipated.
Last year saw Colin Turkington write his name into the history books by becoming a three-time champion and the Norther Irishman will be keen to add fourth in 2019. A whole host of rivals however will bid to dethrone the triple title winner.
Also up for grabs will be the BTCC Manufacturer/Constructor Championship, BTCC Teams’ Championship, Independent Drivers’ Championship, Independent Teams’ Championship and the Jack Sears Trophy.
Titles will also be decided in the Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship, Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 Supercup, Renault UK Clio Cup, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost over the course of the weekend.
