After a lengthy off-season which has seen plenty of announcements, driver changes and testing; the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship roars back into life for the opening three rounds of the 2020 season.
Hosting the BTCC season-opener for the first time since 2005, the Leicestershire venue lifts the curtain on what is expected to be an action-packed battle for the most coveted prize in UK motorsport – currently held by four-time reigning champion Colin Turkington.
Two practice sessions and qualifying will take place on Saturday to set up the weekend’s centrepiece, three pulsating BTCC encounters on Sunday.
Alongside the BTCC contingent will be the usual thrills and spills from the TOCA support categories; all of which will be aiming to take centre stage and steal the show.
The Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship, Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup GB will be joined by the MINI CHALLENGE JCW Championship; with single seater entertainment coming from the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost.
