Donington Park kicks off a brand-new season for the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship this weekend with a bumper 29-car grid ready to begin battle for the biggest prize in UK motorsport.

Setting the stage for what promises to be another action-packed 30-round campaign, the tin top titans lift the curtain on a fresh season with three blockbuster contests on the National circuit.

With anticipation having built over recent weeks and months, the fight for supremacy is set to be fierce as drivers and teams bid to kick off their campaigns on the front foot at Leicestershire venue, with reigning champion Tom Ingram being the driver to beat.

Alongside the BTCC as always will be the usual mix of championships that make up the TOCA support package; all of which will also begin their campaigns under the flightpath of East Midlands airport.

The ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA will provide a platform for the single-seater stars of the future whilst the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Porsche Visit Cayman Islands Sprint Challenge GB and Quaife MINI CHALLENGE JCW will all serve up an abundance of thrills.
