Mallory Park Plum Pudding Race Meeting 2009 :

The Midlands Centre will again run the "Plum Pudding" Race Meeting at Mallory Park on Saturday 26th December 2009.

Competitors will be racing in front of one of Mallory's biggest crowds of the year, and will also see some two-wheeled sport as well!

The following classes of Race Cars will be catered for:

The Entry Fee of £100.00 (t.b.c.) will cover one practice session and TWO races!

Results of our Sprints in 2009 :

We are now using the services of Timing Solutions Ltd. to time our Sprint events, and as part of their service, TSL are publishing full details of times etc. on their website as Adobe PDF documents.

SBD Speed Championship :

The administration of this BARC Speed Championship is now being done by the BARC's Midlands Centre.

Involving our young people :

At each BARC Midlands Curborough Sprint, children aged under 14 are given "once only" cameras.

Following the meeting, the Centre has the pictures processed and the results are judged at the next Committee meeting. 

From the winning pictures, the overall winner is selected by all those attending the Centre Annual Dinner.

Following our Sprint at Curborough on Saturday 02nd May 2009, the committee have viewed various pictures submitted by our young spectators, and the following image was selected as the Winner :
