Mallory Park Plum Pudding Race Meeting 2010 :

The Midlands Centre will again run the "Plum Pudding" Race Meeting at Mallory Park on Sunday 26th December 2010.

Competitors will be racing in front of one of Mallory's biggest crowds of the year, and will also see some two-wheeled sport as well!

We are now using the services of Timing Solutions Ltd. to time our Sprint events, and as part of their service, TSL are publishing full details of times etc. on their website as Adobe PDF documents.

SBD / BARC Speed Championship :

The administration of the SBD / BARC Speed Championship is now being done by the BARC's Midlands Centre.

SBD/BARC 2010 Speed Championship Calendar of Events

The 2010 SBD / BARC Speed Championship will now be contended over 14 rounds, and each competitors best 9 scores will be used to compile the final placings.

Each year, the Championship visits a variety of geographically diverse speed venues. In 2010, three venues will run as Hillclimbs (Gurston Down near Salisbury, Wiscombe near Honiton and Harewood near Leeds). The other venues will all host Sprints.

Involving our young people :

At each BARC Midlands Curborough Sprint, children aged under 14 are given "once only" cameras.

Following each meeting, the Centre has the pictures processed and the results are judged at the next Committee meeting. 

From the winning pictures, the overall winner is selected by all those attending the Centre Annual Dinner.
