Dries Van Langendonck returned to the summit of the Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA standings this past weekend (July 11-12) as he helped Rodin Motorsport claim a clean sweep of wins at Zandvoort.

Resuming its 2026 season following the annual summer break, the UK’s premier single-seater series made its annual jaunt to mainland Europe to take centre stage at the home of the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix – and it didn’t disappoint.

Van Langendonck – who is a member of the McLaren Driver Development Programme – arrived in the Netherlands trailing Lewis Wherrell by nine points in the standings however the talented Belgian quickly overturned that deficit during Saturday’s track action.

Clinching his second CADOLA Watches Pole Position Award of the season, Van Langendonck then claimed a commanding lights-to-flag victory in race one, beating the Hitech duo of Theo Palmer and Scott Kin Lindblom.

Ethan Lennon then came to the fore for Rodin Motorsport in race two the following morning, with the South African driver keeping his cool to triumph in what was an absorbing reverse grid encounter.

Contending with two safety car restarts, Lennon did just enough to hold of Virtuosi Racing’s George Proudford-Nalder to win for the second time this year. Third – and on a British F4 podium for the first time – was F1 Academy star, Alba Larsen.

The weekend’s third and final bout was very much a rinse and repeat of how proceedings began, with Van Langendonck once again being wheel-perfect to lead every lap and win ahead of Scott Lindblom and Palmer.

The Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA now returns to the British shores with Van Langendonck holding a commanding lead in both the Drivers’ Championship and Rookie Cup standings.

Thruxton provides the next stop on the calendar for Britain’s Formula 4 category, as the series rejoins the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship bill on July 25-26.
