BARC strengthens ties with British Hill Climb Championship

The British Automobile Racing Club is delighted to confirm that it will continue in its role of operating and promoting the British Hill Climb Championship in the coming years.

Following a tender process which was carried out by Motorsport UK, the BARC has been issued a new contract to remain in its current position of running the prestigious championship.

BARC General Manager Ian Watson, along with Championship Co-ordinator Tim Wilson and Championship Administrator Jackie Wilson will head up a committee that includes former Midland Automobile Club Operations Manager Robin Webb and ex Bugatti Owners’ Club General Manager Stuart Webster to steer the series moving forward.

In addition to the news that the BARC will remain associated with the British Hill Climb Championship for the foreseeable future, organisers have also unveiled an unchanged calendar for the 2020 season.
