Donington Park provides the setting for a brand-new season of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship to kick off this weekend, with a bumper grid ready to begin battle for the biggest prize in UK motorsport.

Setting the stage for what promises to be another action-packed 30-round campaign, the tin top titans lift the curtain on a fresh season with the introduction of an all-new qualifying contest, as well as three blockbuster races on the National circuit.

With anticipation having built over recent weeks and months, the fight for supremacy is set to be fierce as drivers and teams bid to kick off their campaigns on the front foot at Leicestershire venue, with defending champion Tom Ingram being the driver to beat.

Alongside the BTCC as always will be the usual mix of championships that make up the TOCA support package; all of which will also begin their seasons under the flightpath of East Midlands airport.

The Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA will provide a platform for the single-seater stars of the future whilst the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, MINI CHALLENGE JCW, Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain and Legends Cars Championship will also serve up an abundance of thrills.
